Antoine drew his creative inspiration from the capital\u2019s northern neighbourhoods, which he describes as his \u201ccentre\u201d. \u201cI feel at home in the north, I bring my children here to buy their guitars, and I never get bored strolling around its streets.\u201d This historical neighbourhood is perfect for Antoine, who loves nothing more than hunting down old books, documents and papers on which he has \u2013 quite literally \u2013 drawn the neighbourhood. To really understand Le Pigalle\u2019s soul, he invested the premises during the works and copied details of its wallpaper, the fa\u00e7ades of neighbouring buildings, glimpses of sky and flashes of neon onto fresh blank or printed sheets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cFrom my window\u201d is a personal project by Antoine Ricardou, founder of the be-poles studio and artistic director of Le Pigalle.
